Who You Got In '08?

Two articles from Newsmax.com

Gingrich Plans Massive Outreach

Giuliani 'Testing-the-Waters' Filing Confirmed by FEC

From the Gingrich article...

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is telling associates that he’s launching a major new grass-roots movement to recapture the soul of the Republican Party, and quite possibly the White House.

Gingrich says that the effort will be much larger than his founding of GOPAC and his creation of the Contract with America.

The Georgia Republican is spearheading a program called "American Solutions for Winning the Future” in an effort to revitalize the GOP with Ronald Reagan conservatism.

So far, I like it.

But I don't know if old Newt has the the ear of the American people anymore. His Contract With American was working back when we had Bill Clinton in office. But then he went overboard on his witch hunt of the President, on his infidelity. Newt and Co. did some great things for the economy and the country as a whole, but then they got hung up on discrediting Clinton. The sad thing is that they were winning, and that momentum carried through to last month. And has clearly now petered out, with the Democrats victory over House and Senate Republicans.

Enter Rudy Giuliani, America's Mayor.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission this week that takes him one step closer to running for president.

A filing on behalf of the man once dubbed "America's mayor" was hand-delivered to the commission on Monday, an FEC spokeswoman confirmed. It says Giuliani, a Republican, has created a "testing-the-waters" presidential exploratory committee.

The formal creation of the committee means Giuliani can now raise money and travel the country gauging support and preparing for a White House bid without formally declaring himself a candidate.

Giuliani, who achieved near-mythic popularity for his handling of the Sept. 11 attacks, filed similar paperwork earlier this month in New York to create the Rudy Giuliani Presidential Exploratory Committee Inc.

Rudy and Newt need to get together on this one.

Both need to take one for the team.

They must go out and campaign together, even as they campaign against one another. They must sell this campaign as "We are your next President and Vice President, your votes will tell us who gets which job."

Either way, that will keep John McCain where he belongs, as a fringe Senator in the state of Arizona. Let him keep the boarders of his state open, let him fight the war on terror like a little sissy, let him try to keep spending like the Recent-Wanna-Be-Republicans that make Ronald Reagan turn over in his grave.

Don't get me wrong, I don't see Rudy G. as a true Reagan-Conservative, but with Newt next to him, they could take the White House, one way or the other. That is with either of them as President, and the other as VP.

And frankly, if the other side puts up Hillary, or Kerry, or even...ANYONE THEY HAVE...

I'm on board.

Wanna See A Great Example of Patriotism?

I love this.

I hadn't seen this commercial, and do you know why?

Because, one of the great American companies didn't want to profit from the tragedy that was 9/11.

I happen to own stock in Anheuser Busch, and more than ever, I am proud of that.

A. Busch aired this only once, and then pulled it, at great expense I would imagine.

Check it out...

I bet all the the people that work for such a company didn't vote for cut and run Democrats, I bet they still see the danger of the enemy we face.

The enemy that loves the fact that our media, and part of our government is content to allow them to build nuclear capabilities, that allow them to kill all over the globe unchecked, that look the other way as they squash the human rights of their women...

As long as they oppose GW Bush.

Could I be wrong?

Don't Read Too Much Into This

Yes, that's right, don't read too much into this.

I'm just working my way back into things slowly, I haven't posted anything of substance in way too long. So I'm just working on my chops, if you will.

What the hell is up with John Kerry?

Stay in school or you'll end up stuck in Iraq?

What a self-righteous prick!

Yes, I said it.

If you buy his bullshit apology that he meant it as a joke against Bush, he is still an asshole.

Mr. 'I voted for the for the war before I voted against it', should be so much smarter than Pres. Bush.

He should never misspeak!

Kerry, being such a scholar should be able to pull off all the words of a simple joke, but he can't.

Instead, he says that if you can't graduate, you are no better than an American Soldier.

What an asshole!

My best friend is one of those soldiers, and he is a very bright and educated guy.

He also happens to be a Marine, I guess John Kerry would have you believe that he is as as dumb as he thinks Bush is...

I would like once and for all to have Kerry put his grades up against GW's grades. Although the link has expired, this is interesting

Kerry's GPA was 1 measly point higher. What a POS! Kerry got 4 D's as a college student, Bush, only 1. Bush was supposedly drunk and on cocain the whole time. What was Kerry's excuse? He was bedding rich coeds? He was trying to find a rich wife? While I can respect that, and would condone that, it kinda makes talking shit about grades off-limits.

If Kerry is so smart why won't the Democrats let him speak this week?

Kerry is a ridiculous excuse of a public servant. I would be ashamed to call him my Senator.

Thank God I don't have to.

Unfortunately, I have Boxer and Fienstien...

That is just as bad, maybe worse!

I tried to ask Boxer a few questions last year, and do you know what I got?

Nothing more than a canned answer...

It was pathetic.

Is that her middle finger she is pulling back before anyone could notice?

It may as well have been...She didn't give a crap about what I asked her. And Why should she? My vote means dick to her!

It made it clear to me that I had no representation whatsoever in my home state. The state that I pay way too much tax to. I couldn't get a real answer at all!

I'm in California, and I don't like the direction Arnold has gone, I hate the representation I have in the Senate, and I can't stand what the State is doing overall. They won't address one single issue I have! They want to roll over on Illegal Imigration, give Illegals Driver Licenses, and continue to tax me to pay for Illegals schooling, hospitals and other tax payer priviledges.

It is ridiculous!

And here you go, I said it out loud, that would make me a racist in my own country for making such statements!

It's a crime. Not that the Illegals are taking services that I helped pay for, but the crime is that I would make such statements!

Is that right?

How can I be made a criminal for making statements that are in fact, True?

Easy, we have a Government that doesn't care about it's own people anymore.

It cares more about "Not Offending" the 'Undocumented Worker's', than offending the people that fund their exsistence.

Sad, sad, sad!

I hope it is not too late.

All-Time Best Babe Ever

I read Infidel Bloggers Alliance, Infidel Babe of the Week a few days ago, and Phoebe Cates won the honor.

The picture to justify her babe of the week status was from Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

That is good enough for me!

Then of course there was the Hunk of the Week.

Pim's Ghost went retro as well, kinda...

She went Star Wars, but not the '77 Star Wars, but the 2000-whatever prequel, (sorry, I passed on the new Star Wars movies).

Still, that got me thinking...

Who is the All-Time-Babe-Of-All-Babes?

That is such an easy answer, it's not even funny.

Yvonne Craig, as Batgirl!

I knew from the minute I saw her at 5 years old that I was going to be a heterosexual.

Who knows how the gay thing happens, maybe you're born that way, maybe you are influenced that way.

At 5 years old, I knew what I wanted.

And SHE wore a cape and called herself, BATGIRL.

I mean seriously, how cool was this girl?

She was smart, a conservative librarian by day.

She was hot, of course that goes a long way...

And, she kicked the crap out villians by night.

Not to mention, she did so while wearing about the sexiest costume I'd ever seen at 5 years old.

Oh yeah, and she had a motorcyle!

Oddly enough, as an adult, I have a motorcycle.

Coincidence?

I think not!

Batgirl made me feel things that my prepubescent self was yet to understand...

But she was kind of a gateway drug in a sense, a drug that led me to Charlies Angels, but that is another story.

What can I say, but Yikes!

I still love this masked crimefighter.

Save me a spot on that couch Batgirl!

You Gotta Love A Truth Tellin' Bunny...

If you can't trust a bikini-clad bunny, who can you trust?

Once upon a time, in a nice little forest, there lived an orphaned Bunny and an orphaned snake.

By a surprising coincidence, both
were blind from birth.

One day, the bunny was hopping through the forest, and the snake was slithering through the forest, when the bunny tripped over the snake and fell down.

"Oh, my," said the bunny, "I'm terribly sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. I've been blind since birth, so, I can't see where I'm going. In fact, since I'm an orphan, I don't even know what I am."

"It's quite ok," replied the snake. "Actually, my story is as yours.

I too have been blind since birth, and also never knew my mother. Tell you what, maybe I could slither all over you, and work out what you are so at least you'll have that going for you."

"Oh, that would be wonderful" replied the bunny.

So the snake slithered all over the bunny, and said, "Well, you're covered with
soft fur, you have really long ears, your nose twitches, and you have
a soft cottony tail. I'd say that you must be a bunny rabbit."

"Oh, thank you, thank you," cried the bunny, in obvious excitement.

The bunny then suggested to the snake, "Maybe I could feel you all
over with my paw, and help you the same way that you've helped me."

So the Bunny felt the snake all over, and remarked,

"Well, you're smooth and slippery, and you've a forked tongue, no backbone and...
no
balls.

I'd say you must be what they call a "Democrat."

Bunnies are so smart, and they look fantastic in a Bikini!

Who knew?

Time For The Republicans To Ponder

After Hillary made nice and said some positive things about GW Bush, The Republicans need to be concerned.

They could lose the middle-class vote if the Democrats take this on...

A Democratic Think Tank came up with some clear points about taking back power from The Republicans.

I was hoping to be part of the Think Tank that she is holding, but I kept getting distracted.

Democrats' Message Misses Middle Class

Monday, May 08, 2006
By Martin Frost

Lots of people bemoan the fact that the Democratic Party does not connect with white middle class voters, but few of the complainers offer workable solutions.

Third-Way, a "center progressive" think tank made up of former Democratic Congressional and White House staffers, has now addressed this issue with some real insight.

In a study released on May 4, Third-way notes that Democrats believe they are talking to middle class voters but that their message is all wrong. The study then makes some very specific suggestions on how to solve the problem.

Let’s review the bidding.

First, middle class is defined as household income between $30,000 and $75,000 a year. Obviously this figure could go higher in some parts of the country, depending on cost of living factors.

In 2004, John Kerry lost middle class white voters by 22 points and Congressional Democrats lost middle class white voters by 19 points. Kerry lost all middle class voters as a group (including whites, Blacks and Hispanics) by 6 points.

This was not an aberration but part of a trend. In 2000, Al Gore lost middle class white voters by 15 points and Congressional Democrats lost them by 14 points. In 1996, Congressional Democrats lost middle class white voters by 12 points.

According to Third-way, “Americans are optimistic about the nation’s future and their own; (Democratic) messaging is not. Americans see our society as a basically fair one, where hard work is rewarded; progressives emphasize obstacles to middle-class success.”

The study faults Democrats for always attacking the wealthy, noting “the middle-class aspires to wealth and doesn’t see big business or the wealthy as enemies.”

It adds that Democrats “downplay the strengths of the American economy…and fail to inspire conviction that America can continue to lead the world.”

Stated another was: “Let’s be clear – no one can deny that there are serious and legitimate concerns about our economy. The nation’s federal budget deficit is at a record high, as is America’s trade deficit with the world. Manufacturing jobs have declined, and the gap between the wealthy and the middle-class is increasing. These are not trifling problems that should be glossed over by progressives. But for every piece of bad news, there is also good news about the economic health and future of America.”

The study added, “It is in the American nature to believe that America…will prevail in an economic battle against China, Japan and India and that the American standard of living can only get better. If progressives believe otherwise, they will be wrong on substance as well as wrong on the politics.”

The study then goes on to categorize a number of proposals that Democrats think help the middle class but which really help primarily the poor: raising the minimum wage, expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit, increasing the size of Pell grants for college, making the child care tax credit refundable and fully funding Head Start.

These ideas “are worthy progressive initiatives, but they have virtually no impact on the middle class.”

The study notes that the average family income for Pell grants was $19,460 in 2003-04; that Head Start is specifically targeted for children living in poverty or whose families are on public assistance and that only 2.7 percent of the entire workforce earned the minimum wage last year.

The final part of the study urges Democrats to be optimistic about America and offer ideas that directly benefit the middle-class.

Here are some of Third-way’s specific proposals:

(1) Get the nation’s fiscal house in order by controlling entitlement spending, reining in budget deficits and “holding the federal government to the same standards of efficiency and competitiveness that are demanded of the nation’s companies and workers.”

(2) Invest in infrastructure to create jobs of the future by investment in research and pure science and wiring the nation for advanced information technology.

(3) Help businesses keep jobs in America by containing health care costs, lifting some of the burden of retirement security off of business and punishing countries that use unfair trade tactics that harm American companies.

(4) Make college the goal of all young Americans by expanding the tax deductibility of college tuition for middle class parents.

(5) Provide all Americans with affordable health insurance in the form of “competition-based health care reform.”

There’s a lot more packed into this report. Democrats who want to win back middle class voters should read every word.

What do you make of that?

If the Dem's actually follow that, they are back in the game.

And how does this California Republican think that will affect my life?

It won't.

Can you imagine Feinstein and Boxer taking that on?

I can't.

What would Feinstein and Boxer have if they didn't have big-business to hate on?

Nothing.

My emails to Boxer went unanswered in regards to helping us with gas prices by lowering the taxes they collect. I still think that the real winner in the oil companies record profits is our government.

They will continue to talk out of both sides of their mouth, but the rest of the country could see a change...

If The Dem's could actually put this proposed platform into action, they would easily be able to take over the country in the same way The Republicans did in '94.

I'm at a loss, these are the things that I want to see a reality, but I don't trust the Dem's to do it.

At the same time, The Republican's have failed to do it, so what am I to do?

Vote Democrat?

I hope not.

I hope The Republican's figure this out.

It's easy...

Does that look familiar?

This Is Dangerous

I don't like the sound of this at all.

Sen. Clinton Says Bush Has Charm, Charisma

By DEVLIN BARRETT, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - Asked to say one nice thing about President Bush, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton went one better: She named two things.

"He is someone who has a lot of charm and charisma, and I think in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, I was very grateful to him for his support for New York," Clinton said Tuesday night during a talk at the National Archives about her life in politics.

Clinton, a potential presidential candidate in 2008, said that despite their "many disagreements about many, many issues," she has always had a good personal relationship with the president.

"He's been very willing to talk. He's been affable. He's been good company," said Clinton, D-N.Y.

The junior senator from New York, who is up for re-election this year, said she is still thankful for Bush's personal commitment to helping rebuild lower Manhattan after Sept. 11, 2001.

She recalled how the president, in the grim days that followed the terror attacks, pledged in a private meeting with New York lawmakers to help rebuild the shattered city.

"It was a very personal, very emotional discussion and when we asked him for the help that New York needed he immediately said yes," said Clinton.

At that meeting, Bush pledged more than $20 billion in aid and tax incentives. Some New York Democrats have since charged the Bush administration has fallen billions of dollars short of that goal because some of the programs were underused, but Clinton said the president kept his promise.

"He always kept it on track," she said. "He made sure we got the resources that we needed and I'm very grateful to him for that. ... I am very appreciative in the time when the people I represented needed his help, he was there for us."

Uh-oh!, is Hillary starting to figure it out?

Does she see that US middle-class is getting sick and tired of the Democrats bashing every little thing Bush does, blaming every downfall on The Republicans, and letting a nut-job like Howard Dean run the show?

The Dems go off on the rich, and blame big-business for everything.

But they miss the fact that the middle-class strives to be a part of the upper-class, they don't blame anything on the upper-class. In fact, they like the upper-class and big-business, they provide the middle-class exsistance and opportunity that they enjoy. They (I should say We) know where their (our) bread is buttered.

Is Hillary backing away from the typical Hate-everything-Republican, Democratic Platform?

If so, she could be very dangerous.

I only hope this was a temporary moment of insanity for Hillary.

If she, or any other Democrat could get off the Hate-Platform, they would be poised to take the Whitehouse, almost unopposed.

Yes, almost unopposed. Go ahead, comment away....

Pick Your Hottie

If you had to spend any extended amount of time with one of these women, who do you choose?

Before you answer, let's get to know a little about them...

On the left, you have Pim's Ghost, a very well spoken contributor to The Infidel Bloggers Alliance.

On the right, you have Eva Longoria, a super-hottie that lives on whatever street that Desperate Housewives live. Clearly, that is not any street any of us guys live, or they would not be so Desperate...

But anyway, both look about the same.

Before you ask if I'm serious, think about it, Eva had a pound of makeup, and a dozen people making her up.

PG, just a camera.

1 point for PG in my book. You get the real thing with her.

PG posts many well written things.

Here's PG's comment about United 93 on Fu2rman and Friends regarding the cessation of subtitles...

One point too, they stopped the subtitles for the Arabic once the hijackers began praying, and I know very little Arabic. But my nemesis, the shahada, was right there on the big screen. For the audience members discussing after the film ended, I told them what was being said.
The 1st part of the shahada, "There is no god but allah", repeatedly. That was my only complaint with the movie. They should have kept up the subtitles when the bastards were praying. Everyone knows "Allahu Akbar", but less know the rest, which was also chanted repeatedly at the NYC protests of the "Islamic Thinkers Society". They chanted it in full, "There is no god but allah and mohammad (damnation be upon him) is his prophet".

And here is a quote from Eva...

I hope you all can't see my underwear through this dress!

Well Eva, we hope we can, and if you want to show more than your underwear, I don't think a man alive would object.

However, there are more quotes.

She said it was "unfortunate" that in the United States -- a nation of immigrants -- some lawmakers want to deport illegal aliens and fence off the Mexico/U.S. border.

"Mexicans contribute an enormous amount to our society, economically and socially," she said. "I don't think this administration can afford to have things end badly."

See Eva, that is where you lost me. The US is a nation of immigrants, you are right, but we are a nation of LEGAL immigrants.

You see, the issue is not about immigration, it's about ILLEGALL immigration, see the difference?

Probably not, I won't hold my breath. Even though Eva has the US to thank for her fame and fortune.

I have no problem with Latinos taking up the cause for Mexicans wanting a better life, I'm with you!

But the problem is not with the US, it is with Mexico!

If Mexico isn't able to provide jobs and a decent way of life to their people, take it up with Mexico, not the US!

I'm sorry you can't make a living in your own country, but that is not the fault of the US.

Eva, is it getting more clear?

No?

OK, I'll sum it up for you readers...

Let's look at pics of Eva and PG again, and you choose, smart-hottie, or Eva-hottie?

I choose PG, every day of the week.

And with a level playing field, PG is better looking anyway, and you won't have to tune out Eva's ridiculousness.

PG wins!

People top 100, you missed the boat, you suck!

On A Serious Note

If you have not gone to see United 93, quit f***ing around and go!

There are a few good reasons to see this movie.

I just saw it last night.

I thought, 'Oh, wow, I don't think I want to see it, it may be weird, it may make me sad, it may be uncomfortable.'

Are you feeling the same?

Well get the hell over it!

I don't go to many movies, I'm a Netflix kinda guy, but this was more than worth it.

I don't even know where to start with my opinion on the movie.

I guess I'd start with the fact that I left the movie speechless.

Did I like it?

No, I hated it.

I hated watching planes crash into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

I hated watching United 93 crash.

But I loved NOT seeing United 93 crash into the White House.

I loved seeing Americans take a stand against terrorism, and take United 93 down before it could hit it's target.

But I still hated watching the movie.

However, this was a very well done movie, and should not be missed.

It is not too soon, it is perfectly timed.

As so many Americans have forgotten what happened on September 11th, it is time to get back in touch with the heinous acts of these terrorists.

As Americans seem to not have the stomach to fight a war on terror, all Americans should be required to see this.

Our enemies have the stomach to kill us without 'talking' to us, without 'getting to know us.'

They don't care!

We are Americans, and that is enough for them to hate us, and kill us.

I don't condone hate, I don't want to go out and hate all Muslims, and I don't want anyone else to hate all Muslims.

But as an American, whose homeland was attacked, I demand 'Good Muslims' distance themselves from these murderous villains, or they should be considered part of the problem.

If Good Muslims wish to be part of the United States, it is time to speak up.

Speak out against the killing!

If you can't speak out and be proud of the life that the US has afforded you, go home.

If you hate us, leave.

If you can't stand the way we do things, get out.

That is part of our freedom, if you don't like something, you are free to leave...

Let me leave this long post with this...

Go see United 93, 10% of the profit will go to the victims funds.

If you don't, you should be ashamed of yourself.
